"Friendship is born at that moment when one man says to another:
"What! You too? I thought that no one but myself . . ."

– C.S. Lewis, The Four Loves

SUPPER GROUPS

Supper Groups are one of Cross of Grace’s most popular ministries. These groups consist of 8-10 adults who get together once every one or two months for an evening out or in someone’s home. Groups stay together for about a year, then new groups are formed. Some people have hosted a dinner or pitch-in at their home, others groups have gone to a play or movie, out to eat at a restaurant, or perhaps eat at a restaurant then back to someone’s house for dessert. The groups decide what they would like to do and how often to meet. With our growing congregation and multiple worship opportunities, these groups have been a good way for folks to get acquainted with other Partners in Mission. New groups are formed every September, with sign-up on the Welcome Table or at the Ministry Fair in August.

CRAFT FELLOWSHIP

A monthly gathering for "crafty" folks on the third Friday of the month. Bring your crafts and a snack to share. Join them this month!

MARDI GRAS

Before entering the season of Lent, with all of its discipline, reflection, and solemn abstinence, we throw a great party to celebrate God’s grace and abundance a la New Orleans, Louisiana. This is a B.Y.O.B. evening for adults, full of cajun food, party games, and our Mission Endowment Fund’s silent auction. There is childcare, food, fun, and games for the kids at the other end of the building, too.

OKTOBERFEST
last Sunday in October

An annual celebration of our Lutheran Heritage as we join to sing, celebrate friendships, play games, and participate in other Reformation-related events. Musicfest begins at 5pm; Oktoberfest at 6pm.

HOMEBREW GROUP
3rd Saturday of each month
10:00am – 2:00pm

Cross of Grace is home to several homebrewers who enjoy trying new recipes, sharing their beers, and just hanging out. We gather on the third Saturday of each month. Check the newsletter and/or calendar for details, as the location changes on occasion.
