Cross of Grace

A community of grace sharing God's love with no strings attached.

Sunday Worship:
8:30am & 10:45am

Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA)

"Ministry is about connection, one to another, about sharing in suffering and joy, about persons meeting persons with no pretense or secret motives. It is about shared life, confessing Christ not outside the relationship but within it. This, I learned, was living the gospel"
– Andrew Root, Revisiting Relational Youth Ministry

Sundays @ 9:45am
Labor Day - Memorial Day

These casual conversations during the Sunday school hour, at 9:45 a.m., revolve around issues that bring life and faith together for the adults and confirmed of our congregation. Our current topic is on the theology of Dietrich Bonhoeffer (German pastor, theologian, anti-Nazi dissident) and is led by Rev. Dr. Rob Saler.

“Grace Groups” is Cross of Grace’s weekday small group offering centered around fellowship, food, and spiritual formation. Join us for dinner at 5:30 p.m. and then choose from a variety of experiences. The Fall 2018 Grace Groups feature a course on the Enneagram, discussion on the book Unclobber, and also a handyman group to tackle various projects around the church and grounds.

Are you curious about what it means to be a disciple and "Partner in Mission" at Cross of Grace? Do you want to know more about the Lutheran church? Do you wish you knew how you could 'plug in' more to the mission and ministry of our congregation? The CrossRoads class is your invitation to all of these things.

CrossRoads is our take on new member education and it's a fun, casual way to learn about all of the above before making a commitment to the partnership so many of us share. It's not a test to pass. It's not a hoop through which you must jump. It's a great way to get to know more about the people and ministries here.

Look for details about upcoming classes in the newsletter or contact the church office for more information.
