The season of Lent begins with a solemn call to fasting and repentance as we begin our journey to the baptismal waters of Easter. At our Ash Wednesday worship we offer the sign of ashes as a reminder of our human mortality and frailty. With the cross on our brow, we long for the spiritual renewal that flows from the springtime Easter feast to come.
Spend time in the sanctuary for three minutes or three hours, praying at a variety of stations meant to prepare our hearts for what’s to come during this sacred season.
