Gather with other curious souls to find out more about what it means to be a Partner in Mission at Cross of Grace. Lunch and childcare will be provided. Let us know you are coming by emailing email@example.com. We’ll gather each Sunday in August from 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m.
We support Lutheran World Relief's ongoing effort to provide basic material goods to people across the globe. At 9:45am on Sunday, December 10, GraceQuest students, teachers, and parents are encouraged to come together and help pack all the materials that have been donated over the last few weeks. Based on the amount of donations we received, we'll be busy! We'll see you down in the Sunday School wing at 9:45am.
Join us Sunday at 9:45 a.m. for our monthly inter-generational gathering. Partners in Mission of all ages will gather in the Fellowship Room for the fourth in our series of chances to make new friends, have fun, and learn together about the many ways we can live as disciples. All other education-hour offerings (preschool, GraceQuest, Faith Formation, High School, Adult Forums) are canceled to allow for everyone to participate.
Fourteen Indiana pastors, including Cross of Grace's Pastor Aaron, recently returned from a two-week study tour of South Africa. You are invited to attend a two-night event to hear their experiences and learn what this experience can mean for our local churches and communities. All ages are welcome; refreshments will be provided.
6:30 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 27 @ Cross of Grace
6:30 p.m., Monday, Nov. 28 @ Movie Theater Church (inside Washington Square Mall)

- peanut butter & jelly
- canned fruit
- toilet paper
- dish soap
- laundry soap
- bar soap
- tooth paste
Our grocery cart will be in the Narthex on Sunday ready to be filled!
**We do not need vegetables or soup at this time.**
Along with ELCA churches around the country, we'll leave the church building to do God's work in the world. Join us as we help families at their homes with light maintenance and landscaping projects they can't manage on their own.
Join us to learn about ways we can be more informed and sensitive in living with and walking alongside those who identify as lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender, or queer/questioning (LGBTQ). We’ll have pizza and hear from Graham Brinklow–a leader in the LGBTQ community and at the Indiana Youth Group in Indianapolis. RSVP to the church office via email: firstname.lastname@example.org
After 10:45 worship we will have a Fair Trade Holiday Basket Assembly event. The plan is to fill mugs and baskets with all things Fair Trade, wrap the creations and price them. They will be offered for sale at cost, making a wonderful gift option for the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons.
We will also share a pizza lunch & fellowship along the way. Contact the church office to let us know you'll join the fun
Today we're joining Lutherans across the nation in rolling up our sleeves and getting some work done! To demonstrate our support of the community and a wonderful ministry, after each morning worship service we will head over to Lutheran Child and Family Services (1525 N Ritter Ave., Indianapolis). There are several available projects available, depending on your physical ability and interest in getting dirty, including:
- landscaping work
- assembling "relative care bags"
- organizing the diaper bank
- moving toys in the basement
